There are few books that seem to be in a class of their own. This is one. Perhaps this is simply because the subject of Jesus ascension receives so little attention. But Dawson shows that such a neglect is out of touch with the Scriptures. All that Jesus is and all that he has done and all that he has experienced is now at the right hand of God for us, his people and for the Gospel and its advance. That seems to me to be of more than passing interest.
